Ford Back as Indy in New Disney Ride

Harrison Ford is reprising his iconic role as Indiana Jones in a new Disney Parks attraction. At the recent D23 Disney Experiences showcase, Ford announced his involvement in the upcoming project.

The animatronic Indiana Jones will be featured in a ride set to take over the former DINOSAUR attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The existing ride system will be reused for this new adventure. Although Indiana Jones has been part of various theme park attractions and live entertainment, Ford's likeness and performance have not appeared as the character in a Disney Parks ride.

The ride is expected to feature an original storyline created specifically for Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Tropical Americas land will also include other new additions such as an Encanto-inspired attraction, a carousel with Disney animal characters, and a central village called Pueblo Esperanza.
