Former Disney President Jeff Vahle Shares Insights on Leadership and Innovation

Jeff Vahle, former President of Walt Disney World and Auburn University alumnus, spoke at the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering about his career and experiences overseeing one of the world's premier tourism destinations.

Vahle attended Auburn as an undergraduate student, earning a degree in mechanical engineering in 1985. After graduating, Vahle worked for Eastman Kodak for five years before moving back to Central Florida and taking a job at Magic Kingdom in 1990.

As President of Walt Disney World, Vahle oversaw one of the largest expansion periods in history, with several attraction and hotel expansions and openings. He also led the reopening of the park following the COVID-19 pandemic.
