Fourth Wing Graphic Novel Release Date Announced for April 2027

The Fourth Wing series is expanding into graphic novels, with the first volume set to release on April 6, 2027. Amazon has posted a preorder listing for The Fourth Wing Graphic Novel: Volume One (The Empyrean Series), which will be available in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle editions.

The graphic novel will adapt chapters 1-22 of the first book and is expected to be 256 pages long. Anabel Rossi, a fan artist who has worked on popular franchises like House of the Dragon, is handling the illustrations. Rebecca Yarros, the author of the series, has revealed that she's already written the second graphic novel.

This release date coincides with speculation about when the fourth book in the series will be published. If Rebecca Yarros follows her previous pattern, the fourth book should come out sometime in early 2027. However, no concrete announcement has been made yet.

Rebecca Yarros did recently announce that a new title in the series, Threshing Day, will be released on September 29, 2026. This new book features 13 stories from fan-favorite characters on the day they got their dragons. Additionally, Amazon's Fourth Wing TV series is still in development with Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society at the helm.

The Empyrean series continues to grow its following and establish itself as a major player in the romantasy genre. With multiple projects in the works, fans can expect more exciting news from this popular series soon.
