FTAI Aviation Lands 27 Boeing Jets in Major WestJet Deal

FTAI Aviation has made one of its largest aircraft transactions to date, acquiring 27 Boeing 737-700 planes from WestJet.

The deal involves two parts: FTAI's 2026 SPV acquired 17 Boeing 737-700 aircraft on lease to WestJet in a sale-leaseback arrangement, while the company directly purchased ten off-lease Boeing 737-700 aircraft for its Aerospace Products business.

This transaction marks a significant move for FTAI Aviation as it continues to expand its portfolio and services within the aviation sector.
