Gainwell Commosales, a Kolkata-based heavy equipment dealer and Caterpillar dealership for North and East India, is targeting a doubling of its revenue by 2030. The company expects growth to come from rising construction and mining equipment demand, expansion into new product lines, and a larger aftermarket business.

Speaking at Bauma CONEXPO India 2026, Manav Kohli, Executive Director & CEO, Gainwell Commosales, said the company will benefit from the broader investment cycle in infrastructure and mining. He noted that India is currently the world's third-largest construction equipment market, with sustained infrastructure investment supporting equipment demand over the past decade.

Kohli stated that mining equipment demand typically moves in cycles linked to capital expenditure, while construction provides a more sustained demand base. The company showcased a range of Caterpillar equipment at the event, including excavators, a motor grader, and a dozer.
