Google's Gemini Notebook is getting a significant update, allowing users to have real-time voice conversations in nearly 100 languages. The feature, which will roll out to Google AI Ultra subscribers this week and then to Google AI Pro subscribers and others, lets users ask questions and get step-by-step guidance from their Notebook.

Users can also record lectures and capture their thoughts using the new audio recorder in the Gemini Notebook mobile app, with notes living alongside sources. This feature is currently available only in English for both web and mobile users.

In addition to voice conversations and audio recording, Gemini Notebook will now let users build interactive Learning Overviews to bring together summaries, infographics, quizzes, and flashcards. New quiz formats are also being added, including short-answer, multiple-select, and fill-in-the-blank.
