Gemini Taps into Google Wallet for Enhanced User Experience

Google has granted Gemini access to some of the information stored in Google Wallet. This integration allows Gemini's AI assistant to find passes and answer questions about users' spending, making it easier for them to retrieve information without manually searching through the Wallet app.

The feature is part of Google's Personal Intelligence system, which lets Gemini use information from selected Google apps to provide tailored responses. With this integration, users can ask Gemini to find certain Wallet information, such as loyalty cards, event tickets, and boarding passes, or even retrieve an airline loyalty card number.

Gemini can also analyze linked financial activity and turn it into a quick summary for the user. This feature is currently limited to personal Google Accounts in the U.S. and is optional, allowing users to choose which apps Gemini can use for Personal Intelligence.
