General Atlantic Revives IPO Plans with JPMorgan at Helm
General Atlantic has revived its plans for an initial public offering (IPO) after nearly three years, with JPMorgan Chase leading the effort. The investment firm has also hired Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to help facilitate the listing.
The U.S. IPO market has seen a rebound in recent months, with Elon Musk's SpaceX among the most prominent offerings. General Atlantic had confidentially filed for a listing in December 2023 but delayed the offering due to market volatility.
With $130 billion in assets under management, General Atlantic has invested a total of $121 billion since its inception. The firm's global investment portfolio includes artificial intelligence company Anthropic and India's digital payments firm PhonePe.
