GIC 2026 Brings Together Industry Giants for Largest Poznań Conference Yet
The Game Industry Conference (GIC) 2026 is gearing up to be its largest event yet, with nearly 100 sessions confirmed for the Poznań gathering in October. This represents less than half of the full program, indicating that organizers expect even more attendees and speakers to join the conference.
This year's lineup features a diverse range of industry professionals, including Jakub Kapuściński-Bernatek from CD PROJEKT RED, who will be discussing The Witcher IV. Also on the roster is Nickole Li, Principal Systems Designer at Mojang, known for her work on Minecraft and other notable titles.
The conference will also feature Megan Friedenberg, a rendering engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, who contributed to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Other highlights include Stéphane Jankowski, producer of the Anno franchise at Ubisoft Mainz, and David King, with seventeen years of experience at Electronic Arts.
Eight specialized summits will structure the week, including the AI Beyond Gaming Summit, which focuses on data-driven AI in game production. Other tracks include marketing, international legal and regulatory affairs, audio production, multiplayer game development, and the GEEK Investment Forum, a direct bridge between developers and investors in the European market.
