USA Dominates Czechia 9-2 in WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup Opener

Team USA kicked off their WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup campaign in style, dominating Czechia 9-2 at Estadio Sherwin-Williams Beto Ávila in Cancún, Mexico. The Americans drew first blood with four runs in the top of the first inning, fueled by extra-base hits from Matti Di Maggio, Paxton Scoggin, and Chris Worrell Jr.

The U.S. offense continued to pile on the pressure throughout the game, scoring in each of the six innings they played on offense. Greyson Wuis capped off Team USA's scoring with a solo homer over the right field wall in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The pitching staff was equally impressive, combining for 13 strikeouts and only one walk in today's win. Michael Ohman started strong, working two innings before giving way to Jaxxon Hanen, who threw a hitless inning.
