The Motley Fool analyzed the top 10 biggest initial public offerings (IPOs) in history, raising over $180 billion. These massive listings offer a benchmark for investors to gauge their returns on investment.

Among these giant IPOs, SpaceX's listing is notable. The space exploration company raised around $250 million when it went public. To put this in perspective, the top 10 biggest IPOs collectively raised more than eight times that amount.

The results of these massive listings are mixed. Some have performed exceptionally well, while others have disappointed investors. Meta Platforms, for instance, is up over 1,000% since its IPO, but Visa's performance has been less impressive.
