Goldman Adds Amazon to Monthly Stock Picks List
Goldman Sachs has updated its monthly Director’s Cut list of choice equities by adding five new stocks and removing five others from the curated selection. The list highlights 20-25 fundamental Buy-rated U.S. stocks selected by Goldman's Investment Review Committee.
The added stocks include Amazon (), Burlington Stores (), Huntington Ingalls (), Johnson Controls (), and Occidental Petroleum ()), while Air Products and Chemicals (), ConocoPhillips (), Golar LNG (), Loar Holdings (), and Tyson Foods () were removed from the list.
Despite being removed, ConocoPhillips has delivered a 36.6% return year-to-date with a market cap of $150.4 billion and a 2.68% dividend yield, according to InvestingPro. The stock appears undervalued with a Fair Value 23% above current levels.
The selection process focuses on bottom-up fundamental analysis rather than thematic or factor views, and stocks are chosen based on conviction, differentiated views, and high risk-adjusted returns.
