Cyera, an Israeli data security company, is raising $400 million in funding from Goldman Sachs Alternatives to continue its growth and expansion. The latest investment brings Cyera's valuation to $12 billion, a significant increase from its previous valuation of $3 billion just over a year ago.

Cyera's technology focuses on securing AI agents by bringing data and identity together under one system. The company's platform governs access for every human, machine, and AI agent at once, tracking not just an AI agent's prompts and responses but also the tool calls and database queries in between.

Cyera has already gained traction with major customers such as Paramount, Chipotle, and Valvoline. The company plans to use the new funding to further expand its product roadmap, increase its presence in the U.S. federal market, and grow internationally across EMEA and APAC.
