Goldman Sachs: Proficio Capital Partners Boosts Stake by 17.2%

Proficio Capital Partners LLC has increased its stake in The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS) by 17.2% in the second quarter, according to a recent SEC filing.

The fund acquired an additional 1,192 shares during the quarter, bringing its total holdings to 8,112 shares worth $8,204,000.

This move is part of a larger trend, as several other institutional investors have also increased their positions in GS. For example, Turim 21 Investimentos Ltda. bought a new position in GS in the first quarter worth approximately $25,000, while BOK Financial Private Wealth Inc. grew its position by 188.9% during the second quarter.

GS has been performing well, with revenue up 39.4% compared to the same quarter last year. The company's quarterly dividend was also recently increased to $5.00 per share, representing a yield of 1.9%. This is an increase from GS's previous quarterly dividend of $4.50.
