Goldman Sachs is set to acquire NEOS Investments for up to $2.25 billion in cash and equity, marking a significant expansion of its asset management capabilities.

The deal will combine Goldman Sachs Asset Management's existing offerings with NEOS' expertise in options-based ETFs, which have seen rapid growth in the past few years.

As of June 30, 2026, NEOS managed approximately $30 billion across 19 systematic options-based income ETFs, and its acquisition will add to Goldman Sachs Asset Management's existing $40 billion in income and outcome-oriented options-based ETF solutions.

The combined platform is expected to oversee more than $130 billion in global ETF assets under supervision, positioning Goldman Sachs as the eighth-largest active ETF manager globally.
