Goldman Sachs Sees Bullish Outlook for Nu Holdings Stock Despite Recent Decline

Instruments
GS
Share

Nu Holdings stock has seen a significant decline in recent months, falling from its January high of $18.95 to around $13.43 today.

Despite this pullback, Goldman Sachs analysts remain bullish on the company's outlook, believing that the recent drop may be more of a valuation reset than a deterioration in Nu Holdings' underlying fundamentals.

The analysts note that the company's expanding customer base, strong presence in Brazil, and continued push into other Latin American markets such as Mexico and Colombia support its long-term growth story.

Nu Holdings has added nearly 4 million customers in the second quarter of the year, bringing its total global user base to 139 million. In Brazil, it has close to 118 million users, a significant figure given the country's population of 213 million people.
