Goldman Sachs analyst Michele Della Vigna has maintained a Buy rating on BP p.l.c. (BP) and set a price target of £660.00.

This is not the only positive view on BP from Goldman Sachs, as Della Vigna also covers other energy sector stocks such as Harbour Energy, Shell (UK), and TotalEnergies SE.

According to TipRanks, Della Vigna has a 64.58% success rate on recommended stocks and an average return of 7.5%. However, not all analysts agree with the Buy rating, as J.P. Morgan maintained a Hold rating on BP p.l.c. (LSE: BP) yesterday.

BP's latest earnings report for the quarter ending March 31 showed revenue of £51.14 billion and a net profit of £3.76 billion. This is an increase from last year's revenue of £46.91 billion and net profit of £687 million.
