Golf and Tech: Cisco Partners with The R&A on AI-Ready Network Architecture

Cisco Systems Inc. has formed a multiyear partnership with The R&A, a global golf governing body, to create an AI-ready network architecture for golf tournaments and headquarters.

The deal, announced prior to last month's British Open, designates Cisco as the official network supplier for The Open, the AIG Women's Open, and other key championships, as well as for The R&A's new global headquarters in St Andrews.

This partnership demonstrates how a single infrastructure stack can connect rugged field deployments with headquarters environments, reducing complexity and simplifying governance.
