Google Ads Introduces Beta Feature for AI-Generated Product Titles
Google Ads has introduced a new beta feature called Product Titles Report, which allows advertisers to view AI-created product titles in their ads. This report is designed to show when Google's AI-generated product titles are more relevant than the original ones provided by the advertiser.
The report shows a sample of product titles created by Google's AI that appeared in the ads, including the customized product title created by Google AI, the original product title, impressions, product clicks, CTR (click-through rate), cost, and average CPC (cost-per-click).
Advertisers can use this information to help Google's AI create on-brand ad copy by adding text guidelines in their campaign settings. However, if changes are made to the text guidelines during a selected date period, advertisers may still see ad copy that violates their guidelines, but it won't be displayed in ads today.
This feature is different from the product title A/B experiments report introduced earlier this year and is currently available for beta testing. The report shows when AI-created product titles are more relevant than original ones, giving advertisers valuable insights to optimize their ad copy.
