Google Arts & Culture Redesigns App for Conversational Discovery
Google Arts & Culture has revamped its app to prioritize conversational discovery over traditional museum-style browsing. The updated platform combines visual conversational search, a redesigned discovery feed, interactive experiments, and 27 new city guides.
The AI-powered search allows users to ask questions about art, history, or culture, receiving explanations accompanied by visuals and curated stories from partner archives.
Google's goal is not merely to present more content but to change the starting point for cultural discovery from a collection to be browsed to a conversation initiated in one's own words.
The update arrives as Google Arts & Culture marks its 15th anniversary, with over 3,000 cultural institutions and artists across 90 countries contributing to its vast archive.
