Google has restricted new account creation for Iranian users due to issues with phone verification. Reports indicate that phone numbers with the +98 country code are experiencing difficulties when creating new Google accounts.

In the enrollment process, Google requires users to verify their phone numbers to confirm they are not bots. However, Iranian numbers are sometimes rejected at this stage or advanced to the next round without issue.
