Google Calendar to Introduce Per-Calender Default Event Lengths

Google Calendar is preparing to introduce a change that will allow users to set separate default event lengths for each calendar, rather than having a global setting.

This feature has been spotted in version 2026.38.0-989268529-release of Google Calendar for Android, and it's expected to make it easier to manage events on multiple calendars with different schedules.

For example, if you have a business calendar with many short meetings and a personal calendar with longer events for your kids, you'll be able to set the default event length for each calendar separately.

The change appears to be part of an APK teardown, which helps predict features that may arrive on a service in the future based on work-in-progress code.
