Google Develops AI-Powered Custom Lockscreen Clocks for Pixel Phones

Google is working on a new feature for Pixel phones that uses AI to generate custom lockscreen clocks. This feature, discovered in Android Canary 2608, allows users to input an 'AI Prompt' and receive a unique digital clock design. The user can also upload an image for reference, and save multiple designs using the gallery interface.

The AI-generated clock feature is not yet live on the server-side, but it offers a new level of customization for Pixel phone owners. This approach is similar to AI wallpapers, which have been available for some time. The expanded Dynamic Color theming options introduced in June are still pending, however.

It's worth noting that features in Android Canary do not always launch, and there is no guarantee that this new feature will be included in the final version of the software.
