Google Earth Unveils Site Analysis Tools with AI-Powered Change Detection

Google Earth has launched a new suite of professional site analysis tools to help professionals evaluate land for commercial opportunities, plan utility-scale solar farms, and inspect managed lands.

The new tools include point-and-click terrain analysis tools, such as elevation contours, slope, aspect, and cut and fill, alongside an on-demand AI tool called 'detect change' that reveals when and where changes have occurred.

These tools are available today on the Standard plan of Google Earth, with expanded access and capabilities in professional plans.
