Google has expanded its Google Beam technology to six countries, including the U.S., Canada, UK, France, Germany, and Japan. This expansion is part of a partnership with Industrious, which will offer HP Dimension with Google Beam at select locations. The tech integrates with both Google Meet and Zoom.

A recent internal study by Google found that teams using Google Beam felt 50% more connected to one another, had 33% easier feedback communication, and saw a 21% drop in follow-up meeting needs.

Netflix and Capital Group are among the first customers adopting the technology. Keith Bevans from Bain & Company praised Google Beam for helping assess candidate performance in virtual interviews, saying 'there are so many nuances in body language and eye contact' that the tech helps mitigate.

The rollout is supported by 18 channel partners equipped to deploy and support the technology.
