Google Fixes False Warning About Pixel Watch Health Sync Support
Google's Pixel Watch owners received a false warning that their watches would lose Google Health Sync support. The alert was a bug and has been fixed, according to Google.
The original Pixel Watch was announced in October 2022, making it nearly four years old. Despite its age, the watch is still supported by Google Health App and Coach, which require Wear OS 4 or later to work.
Google confirmed that the issue was a bug and not a change in policy. The company stated that legacy Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices will continue to support Google Health Sync.
