Google Fixes RCS Message Delivery Bug in Messages App
Google Messages users have been experiencing issues with media attachments failing to send over RCS (Rich Communication Services). The problem has been acknowledged by Google, which has confirmed that a fix is already in the works.
A Google spokesperson stated that the company is aware of a bug affecting a subset of its users, resulting in disrupted RCS message delivery. To address this issue, a fix is being rolled out to Messages users over the coming weeks.
Users who want to ensure they receive the update as soon as possible are advised to keep their Google Messages app up-to-date by configuring the Play Store to install new updates automatically.
