Google Gives Students Free AI Pro Plan for a Year

Google has launched a promotion that offers eligible college students in the US a year-long free subscription to its AI Pro plan. This typically costs $200 per year, or $20 per month, and provides quadruple the usage limits in Gemini, access to the Spark agentic platform, and Gemini integration within Workspace apps like Gmail and Docs.

The promotion also includes 5TB of cloud storage and a subscription to Google Health Premium, which integrates with FitBit devices and other health trackers. Additionally, students can purchase a discounted bundle that includes access to both AI Pro and YouTube Premium for $9 per month.

However, there is a caveat: the subscription will auto-renew at the full price after a year, so students should be aware of this when signing up.
