Google Health 5.08 Forces Switch to Google Accounts

Google Health 5.08 has begun rolling out on Android and iOS devices, marking the smallest update to the app since its redesign in May.

The latest version includes a pair of account-related updates, starting with the requirement for a Google Account to use the app following the end of the Fitbit account migration period.

This change means that users can no longer log in using their Fitbit accounts, and any unmigrated data will be deleted. However, those who previously associated an email address with Fitbit can now sign in using their preferred Google Account, regardless of whether it was used with Fitbit before.
