Google Health 5.09 Update Brings New Features to Wearable Users
Google has released an update for its Health app, version 5.09, which is now available on both iOS and Android devices.
The latest upgrade brings the new Pixel Watch Health Guardian features that were announced earlier this week, allowing users to track blood pressure, chart insulin resistance trends, and monitor sleep breathing quality data.
Pixel Watch owners will be able to take advantage of these features on their wearable devices, while non-Pixel Watch users can also sync workouts with Google Health, which will contribute towards their Cardio Load. This requires that the user's wearable measures heart rate.
The update also includes improvements for logging activities under Fitness and fixing a bug that affected old step streaks. Additionally, users who track food intake in the app can now enter serving units and meal times more easily for custom food items.
