Google Messages Pins Get a Refreshed Look

Google Messages is getting an update that will change how pinned conversations are displayed. Currently, users can pin up to 20 threads, but this number will be limited to six with the new update.

The pinned conversations will also get a fresh new look, with more emphasis on the contact. The updated interface will show contact photos and a preview of incoming messages from the pinned conversation.

This change is not yet live, but it's expected to roll out if Google's internal and beta testing goes smoothly.
