Google Messages Rolls Out Simplified Long-Press Menu

Google Messages has started rolling out its redesigned long-press menu to stable users. This change was previously available in beta and allows for easier access to common message actions without requiring a thumb stretch towards the top of the screen.

The updated menu appears as a floating list positioned closer to the selected bubble when you long-press on a message. Actions such as Reply, Forward, Copy, Star, Delete, Select more, and Info are now within easier reach.

Additionally, selective text copying has been enabled. This feature allows users to copy specific text from a message by long-pressing again and dragging the selection handles over only the desired text.
