Nvidia Expands RTX Development Stack with Neural Rendering Updates
Nvidia has expanded its RTX development stack with the release of RTX Kit 2026.3 and RTX Mega Geometry 2.0.
The updates push neural rendering deeper into real-time graphics, expanding on capabilities such as neural texture processing, lighting, geometry, character rendering, and DirectX integration.
Nvidia has also extended support to Windows Arm64 with these releases.
An independent developer demonstrated the potential of generative AI in graphics development by creating an RTX-accelerated path tracer using Claude Opus 5.5 in under an hour, illustrating how this technology may change the way developers create graphics software.
