Google Photos Brings Manual Photo Stacking to Android Devices

Google Photos has finally rolled out its manual photo stacking feature to Android users. This feature allows users to group specific photos together, giving them more control over how their library is organized. The feature was previously available on iOS devices.

The automatic photo stacking feature in Google Photos can sometimes organize photos in a way that doesn't align with user preferences. Manual photo stacking solves this issue by allowing users to select multiple images and group them together into a single stack.

To use the new feature, Android users need to press and hold the images they want to group, then swipe left on the menu at the bottom of the screen and tap 'Stack photos'. The selected images will then be combined into a single stack in their photo library.
