Google Photos Bug Locks Down Key Buttons After Edits

A bug in Google Photos has left some users unable to share, edit, or delete photos after making basic edits. The issue primarily affects Pixel users, who report that key buttons remain unresponsive after cropping or rotating an image.

Normally, the Google Photos app allows users to perform several actions immediately after editing a photo, including sharing it, adding it to an album, and deleting it. However, affected users claim that these options no longer work as intended.

The issue has been reported by Pixel 8, 9, 10, and 11 series users, suggesting that the problem may not be limited to a single device generation. A Samsung Galaxy A56 user who tested the same issue reported normal functionality after editing an image.
