Google Photos Gets Easier Album Sharing and Folder Redesign

Google Photos is working on two new features that will make it easier for users to share albums and collections. The first update, which has been spotted in a future version of Google Photos (v7.93.0), adds controls for album QR codes. Users will be able to copy or download the QR code directly, rather than taking a screenshot as they currently do.

This means that users won't have to go through the hassle of cropping and sending the screenshot to others. The new feature is especially useful for sharing albums with people nearby, but it also makes it easier to share them later.

The second update is a redesigned Collections tab, which will give users more control over how their folders and other items are organized. Users will be able to pin important items and reorder them in the updated layout.
