Google Pixel 10a Price Hikes by $100 Amid Industry-Wide Memory Shortage

Google has quietly raised the price of its Pixel 10a smartphone by $100. The 128GB model now costs $599, up from $499, and the 256GB version is priced at $699, a $100 increase from its previous price of $599.

The price hike follows similar increases in the industry, with Apple raising prices on the iPhone 17, 17e, and iPhone Air by $100 last month, and Samsung doing the same for the Galaxy S26 line earlier this week.

According to experts, the ongoing memory shortage is to blame for the price increase. Micron, a leading memory supplier, warned that it expects the shortage to worsen in 2027 and 2028.

Despite the price hike, Walmart still appears to be selling the Pixel 10a for $499, although supplies are slim.
