Google has officially launched its latest smartphones, the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro, with preorders now open ahead of their August 20 release. The Pixel 11 starts at $899, a $100 increase from last year's model, but Google has bumped up the base storage to 256GB, making the price comparable to the previous generation's 256GB model. Preordering through the Google Store offers additional perks, including up to $500 in trade-in value and a choice between $100 in Google Store credit or $130 off the new Pixel Watch 5.
The Pixel 11 Pro, on the other hand, sees a more significant price bump, starting at $1,099, which is $100 more than the Pixel 10 Pro. Preordering through the Google Store also comes with benefits like up to $600 in trade-in value and a $200 store credit or $250 discount on the Pixel Watch 5. Amazon and Best Buy are offering a free $200 gift card with the purchase, while T-Mobile and AT&T provide the phone for free with a trade-in and eligible data plan.
The Pixel 11 features minor upgrades such as a thinner camera bar, no 128GB model, and a new 512GB option, along with AI features like Magic Capture. It comes in four colors: Frost, pistachio, hibiscus, and obsidian. The Pixel 11 Pro introduces notable changes, including the removal of the 128GB storage option, a boost in brightness to 3,600 nits, and the addition of HiLight, a customizable multi-colored light on the rear camera bar.
