Google Recorder App Finally Gets Basic Editing Feature

Android Police reports that Google's Recorder app is set to receive an update with a long-overdue feature.

The new functionality allows users to access and edit recordings directly within the app, rather than having to open them in a separate media player or export them to another service.

This update has been in the works for some time and should have shipped years ago, according to Timi, Android Police's news and deals reporter. The feature is now available on Google Recorder.
