Google Search users have been frustrated by a time filter bug that returned a mix of old and new content. The issue, which affected both Android and desktop devices, forced users to rely on manual search operators as a workaround.

Rajan Patel, Google's VP of Engineering for Search, confirmed on X that the team has shipped a fix for the issue. A Reddit user suggested that JavaScript powering the Search time filter dropdown may have caused the problem, but this is just speculation.
