Google Sets Date for Googlebook Showcase: September 15 in NYC

Google has announced that it will showcase its new Googlebook platform at an in-person media event in New York City on September 15, 2026. The event will include a keynote detailing Googlebook's software, Gemini features, and native Android codebase.

The keynote will be accompanied by hands-on stations featuring Googlebook hardware from partners like Lenovo, ASUS, and HP.

Google initially hinted at the new platform during the recent Android 17 announcement and the Pixel 11 launch. Although some details were shared, more information was promised for this fall.
