Google has streamlined the process of creating and sharing meeting notes in Google Calendar and Docs. Meeting organizers can now create a new Google Doc for meeting notes directly from within Google Calendar event details or from within a Google Doc.

To create meeting notes with a Google Calendar event, users must select the 'Create meeting notes' chip in the notes area, save the event, and share access to the attached Google Doc with guests. Users can also access existing notes by selecting the linked Google Doc from within the event details.

Additionally, users can create meeting notes from a Google Doc by typing '@' and searching for their desired calendar event. Once selected, pressing the tab key will apply a meeting notes template to the document, adding the event date, title, attendee list, and other relevant information.
