Google has quietly raised the price of its Google TV Streamer to $149.99, up from its launch price of $99.99 in 2024. The new pricing is already live on the Google Store and Best Buy, but other retailers such as Amazon are still listing it at the original price.

The price increase is attributed to rising component costs, particularly RAM pricing. According to Google, this has also affected other products in their lineup, including the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5. The Google TV Streamer itself comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

Google confirmed the price hike in a statement, citing the need to adjust prices due to rising component costs. They also emphasized their commitment to providing customers with 'industry-leading smart home security and continuous feature updates.'
