Google Unveils Beginner-Friendly AI-Powered Coding Course on Coursera

Google has made its AI-powered coding course, 'Free Vibe Coding Course', available on Coursera. The three-module course is designed for beginners and requires no prior knowledge of coding.

The course host, Ammar Reshi, Head of Product and Design at Google AI Studio, guides learners through the process of creating apps using natural language prompts and the AI Studio interface.

Learners are tasked with building three different apps, including a random winner picker and an interactive dashboard. In the final module, they create a custom app for a real workplace task by analyzing their routine processes and identifying areas for improvement.

The course uses Gemini, Google AI Studio, and Google Workspace as its tools, and the stated learning outcomes include the ability to spot automation opportunities in workflows and use AI Studio with confidence.
