Google Unveils Enhanced Cameras in Latest Pixel Series
The latest Pixel series from Google boasts several camera upgrades, including new main sensors and improved video capabilities. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold feature 48MP 1/1.56″ main sensors with 56% better light sensitivity than their predecessors. This should improve image quality, especially in low-light conditions.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL also receive new camera hardware, including a 1/1.3″ main sensor that excels even when cropped at 3x. The telephoto camera is now a 5x 48MP 1/1.95″ sensor, capable of pulling in 30% more light than the Pixel 10 and zooming up to 120x with AI-assisted processing.
Google's also introduced Camera Looks, which streamlines Apple's Photographic Styles concept into a customizable visual options menu. This feature lets users choose from presets like Natural, Shadows, and Vanilla before taking a shot.
