Nvidia-Backed CodeRabbit Hits $1.5 Billion Valuation After $143 Million Funding Round

Nvidia-backed startup CodeRabbit has secured $143 million in a new funding round, valuing it at $1.5 billion.

The round was co-led by Atomico and Smash Capital, with participation from BMW i Ventures and Datadog Inc., existing backers of the company include Nvidia Corp.

Founded in 2023, CodeRabbit offers a tool that automatically reviews code as it's written, helping to catch issues before they become major problems.

The need for such tools has grown as AI-generated software programming becomes more prevalent, with approximately 17,000 customers using the service and conducting over 2 million code reviews each week.
