Google Unveils Gemini 4 Argon with 1 Million Token Output Limit
Google has launched Gemini 4 Argon, its latest frontier AI model designed for complex workflows, cybersecurity, software engineering, and quantum computing. The new model boasts a significant technical upgrade with a 1 million-token output limit, allowing it to handle lengthy and interconnected problems.
The previous generation of Google's AI models had a 64,000-token limit, but Gemini 4 Argon has broken this barrier, providing more room for the model to work through complex tasks. This is particularly useful for large-scale code migrations, extended software engineering tasks, financial research, legal work, and other enterprise processes that require numerous steps before reaching a final result.
Google's benchmark comparisons show Gemini 4 Argon leading or tying with rival models in 14 out of 19 evaluations. However, OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra scores higher on several tests, indicating performance varies by workload rather than one model dominating every category.
