Google Unveils Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash with Enhanced Video Generation Capabilities

Google has announced its latest video generation AI model, Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash. The new model features several key upgrades, including 'Scene Extension' and a 360p preview function.

Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash allows developers to generate continuations based on up to 10 seconds of past footage with the Scene Extension feature. This enables users to chain 10-second clips together, making it possible to create videos up to 40 seconds long.

The model also includes a smooth first-and-last frame transition feature, which connects keyframes seamlessly for complex camera movements and transitions.

Additionally, the 360p preview function allows users to quickly experiment with multiple video patterns during the brainstorming stage without incurring high costs.
