Google Unveils Major School Investment in Pine Island Data Center Project

Google is hosting a community celebration in Pine Island, Minnesota on August 19 to unveil its proposed data center project and a major school investment. The event will take place at Trailhead Park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with formal remarks scheduled for 5:15 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy live music, free food, and family activities while learning about the project's Panther Program. This 28-year partnership between the City of Pine Island and Google will provide over $24 million to local schools.

The program aims to prepare Pine Island students for high-demand careers in their community by funding expanded K-12 educational programs and hands-on career training.
