The Made by Google event is just around the corner on August 12th, where Google will unveil its new flagship smartphones, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The event will also see the introduction of the Pixel Watch 5 and the highly anticipated Pixel Tag tracking device.

The Pixel 11 family is expected to have improved processing power with Google's Tensor G6 chipset, but a notable change is that all models will be limited to 12GB of RAM, down from the 16GB in previous generations. The storage options are also changing, with the 128GB option being removed and replaced with 256GB as the starting point.

The new smartphones will run on Android 17, which was released in May. Another notable feature is the notification light on the back of Pixel devices, rumored to be called HiLight, which will light up when specific contacts are calling. The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to launch with a revamped Google Health.
